Winter: F.T.S.
It’s cold out there. It’s an uncomfortable cold. You know, the kind when you can’t bear to leave your hand without a glove for two seconds while you try to pick up what will be a missed call. Or when you find the Uniqlo HEATECH leggings you bought doesn’t actually cover 4F, heck no amount of layering you’ll come up with will cover that type of cold. Mountain climbers, dare devils and those that live in the coldest places on earth, I really don’t know how you do it, but my hat goes off to you.
Gosh, I sure do hate winter. My body doesn’t like it, my mind doesn’t like it. I mean it doesn’t get this cold in Washington, D.C.–like ever [well since I’ve been there]….When I can’t feel my face after stepping outside, when the bus seems like it’s taking forever, but it’s only been a minute, when I can’t get the motivation to run at the crack of dawn…the list goes on.
Every year since Korea, it’s the same thing. I’ll have to deal with it like I always do.
Stay inside until it’s over.
Baking: I Love It
After baking 12 vanilla cupcakes, 12 chocolate cupcakes and a small pan of brownie, I’m in the mood for sleep. Tomorrow night’s going to be fun–a friend’s birthday party and I made cupcakes as a special request from the birthday girl.
Today, I had a good afternoon class, a trip to Jenny Wang, some bake time and made some curry noodles for tomorrow’s lunch.
This is my most productive working Saturday ever!
